Yup - quite the change.
There are now factory parts at the destroyed convoy event. I opened one of the trucks, and there is was. One factory part.

A few folks are saying that Factory Parts have always been at the convey, with an extreme rarity of dropping. I've done this convoy probably 100 times, and this is my first time getting factory parts. That is EXTREMELY extra rare!

Do people not recycle guns anymore? I get alot of Factory Parts by recycling guns
That's where I got all mine previous to today. Recycling is an absolute must in the game
did you wait until max level to start putting in full durability guns?
Imma be honest, I got impatient at around level 46 and started shoving full Uzis, Winchesters and M16s in there.
I got impatient at level 26 and threw in 4 uzis hoping I would get enough fps to finish the Glock extended mag and luckily I got 5 fps.
I waited till level 30. Then I'd get at least 1 FP every 3 gunsish, and 1 carbon every 5-7 guns.
I never do the chests anyway. If there are zombies, you can skip them all by sneaking through and shortcutting through left. If there are raiders, again sneak through, get to the last raider, kill him( or don't) so far i only seen him with Winchester, so melees will do. Loot the corpse and run away. Cut finger is definitely worth going for if you don't waste much on enemies, it's like airdrop+ if you will. Unfortunately its not guaranteed to spawn

Yeah, I've gotten 3 in about 3 years. A gun oil popped up for me once as well. They could improve the loot at that event but it is Kefir...
Well, yeah. I'm surprised it was always there and kefir didn't just straight up remove it.
Once again I've been taken a fool for thinking kefir made a good change.
