A Border Collie in Texas shot by police officer while sitting on her own porch, wagging her tail, with both her owners nearby who were pealing with him not to shoot

Just saw this story and it really shocked me... It seems that the officer in this story just shot the dog because he was on some sort of power trip.

I don't understand how could anyone in their right mind shoot a dog that was not displaying any aggressive behavior whatsoever and was in fact wagging its tail, happy to see you. Just too sad :(
