Help with installing Klipper on Ender 5 S1
Hi all. I'm a new owner of a Ender 5 S1, having just upgraded from an Ender 3. I'm trying to get going with Klipper but can't seem to sucessfully flash it on the Ender.
I have tried various klipper.bin files, copied them to a SD card (formatted with FAT/32k allocation blocks). I plug the card into the Ender, turn it on and just get a blank screen. I've left it on the blank screen for > 5 minutes, but don't get any messages etc.
When I reboot the Ender, I still just get a blank screen and it appears to be bricked. To fix I can re-flash the stock firmware from creality.com
I've tried the bin files from https://www.facebook.com/groups/sonicpad/permalink/417737220573487/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/ender5/comments/118v3eu/comment/jipbuzi/ and I've also followed the official instructions to compile my own version on a Raspberry Pi.
But I keep on ending up with just a blank screen on the Ender :(
Hardware version is CR4NS200141C13
Any help/tips/pointers appreciated :)

Did you check to make sure that the USB cable you are using to connect the raspberry pi to the ender 5 supports data. There are some USB cables that are charge only.
Also on Ender 5 s1, since it has a color LCD screen it will NOT display anything when you are on Klipper. Klipper only supports to old monochrome screens like that on ender 3
If you are still having problems, can you post a screenshot of what it shows when you type in the IP address of the raspberry pi on your browser
Was going to say this - stock screen won't work with klipper - you'll need something else to display. The blank stock screen indicates a successful flash of the firmware though so it sounds like you're on the right track!
Ahhhhh! thank you! I just assumed there would be something on the screen! Doh! Thanks for the help. Now I can move onto the next step :)
