Gary Sanchez seeing a career revival with San Diego
Sanchez was DFA'd by the Mets last week, but was quickly picked up by the Padres, who were desperate for a catcher that could hit better than .150. Well Sanchez has been a whole lot better than that, as he's been the best performing hitter in the Padres lineup since his arrival. He has 4 home runs in 9 games (8 starts) with the Dads to pad a .310/.375/.793 slash line in that time. His stock has skyrocketed 35% in that short time, making him one of the biggest gainers in the past couple of weeks. He is looking much like the player that took off as one of the best offensive catchers with the Yankees a few years back, but his recent quality of play has been mediocre at best. Can he keep up the hot stretch? Are you picking him up and riding the wave?
