Called back today to check status after waiting 9 weeks for 6042c to process

IRS agent stated that my company was a c corp and not a s corp referred me to the forms to file to elect as a s corp. I called to review my filings along with 6042c which she placed me on a brief hold for a few mins came back stated she was reviewing the file please hold a lil longer today is my 9 week point from 6042c I’m calling to get a current update I’ve talked with several agents in pass hoping today is different plus I’ve lapsed 9 weeks.

So after a long wait the agent came back and stated that my file was going thru a review with 6042c accepted at this point if I don’t hear anything within 60 - 90 days via mail then I should call back because the department only responds with letters forms if there’s a problem or anything else needed…

So as of now I’m past verification and I guess going forward just waiting for the credits to be issued she stated it’s no timeframe see since it’s when the system issues the credits but to be patient because the process isn’t a easy one but there’s no problem as to my file or the 6042c.

So that’s great. But here last statement was make sure to stay on top of my mail. If credits are granted I’ll receive a notice the agent was helpful she stated she seen where the past agent told me to call after 9 weeks and that she sees no problem….
