MacBook Pro will not boot up. Major problems after removing the battery.
I have MacBook Pro (Summer 2009 model).
This afternoon I spilled the fluid of my contact case onto the enter key of my laptop, I quickly blew it off with my mouth and wiped what was left with a towel.
After this I left my laptop on and went out for a few hours. When I returned the laptop was turned off even though it was plugged into the power. When I tried to turn it back on it would make the chiming sound, go the Apple logo, than shutdown on its own.
It did this every time. These are the things I tried to get to the login screen.
- I tried holding down the option and control button while booting it up.
*I pressed control option and P & R to reset my PRAM
- I plugged and replugged the power source.
Later I took the cover off and disconnected the two cables of the battery from the laptop. I plugged in the AC power adapter and booted it up. Instead of chiming this time it just went to a white screen and the fan went absolutely crazy, it never went to the login screen even though I left it alone. There wasn't even the apple logo.
Afterwards I plugged in both the cables from the battery and tried to boot it up. Now my laptop doesn't even bootup. I've tried every one of the ways listed above to try to get it to just turn on but that doesn't work. The laptop rarely even recognizes when the power adapter is plugged in.
The only time the computer boots up now is when I disconnect the two cables from the battery and manage the get the laptop to recognize the AC power adapter. But it just boots to a white screen with the fan going crazy.
What the hell happened to my laptop r/apple. It compeltley crapped itself while I was away for 4 hours. What do I do?
