What are the rules with videotaping your jump? (more context inside)

So I'm from the US, but just had my first tandem jump in Australia (it was out of a helicopter and it was AMAZING btw). I was talking to the guy attached to my back about using a GoPro or whatever and I think he said something like you need 200 jumps before you're allowed to for regular jumpers? And the tandem guys need like 100 tandem jumps before they're allowed to videotape.

Is it the same in the US? I would hate to have to wait 200 jumps before I can get my own video up...
