Fresh green tea toners are great, but they should only be kept in the fridge for no more than 3 days due to bacterial growth and other gross stuff. So how to avoid this issue? Read on to find out!!!
I was wondering about making my own green tea toner with some matcha green tea powder the other day and I know I've read that it should only be kept no longer than 3 days, due to the issue above.
Make a batch of your toner and put into an ice cube tray. Then take out a cube a day for your toner. what you don;t use on your face, use on your arms and legs.
You'll have a nice refreshing toner experience plus no bacteria to worry about!
EDIT::/u/akachela made a great point. I should have mentioned, if you don't want to just use the ice cube as is, take one out the night or morning before you intend to use it so it melts.
