[f]irst post. I am a bit curious on some things.
So I eat really healthy... with carbs. I stumbled on this last night after typing in diet. I saw results and thought I would give it a shot (I saw a scale for the first time in a year and well its 20 lbs not pretty) . I figure if it works great, if not, no harm no foul. I read the keto in a nut shell thing and it all sounded great. I was driving home and realized exactly how "healthy" I already eat, and every thing I must give up (which is chill... my boyfriend is going to love this diet lol)..
Last night before finding this I ate 50g of carbs. Once I realized that, I thought this may just be the perfect life style change to switch to, or at least give a month try.
I work 12s and as much as I would love to walk into work with a taco bacon salad and broccoli flavored like beef and broccoli (if I understand right it would hit under 20 NET carbs because broc is high in fiber and my favorite veggie). It's a lot to carry, what small snacks do you guys have that you can to work? Also what food do you suggest I can share with my four year old and I? He is skinny enough and can't afford to lose the weight.
EDIT give the kiddo some bread with what I am having and he is good. I thought of that after hitting submit.
