So there is some kind of scam artist lurking around town...

So last night on my way to work I stopped at the mapco on morrison springs at 27.As I am walking out going to pump my gas there is a young, snappy dressed 20 something black dude leaving his car on his way in.He sees me in my uniform (security) and starts small talk about my job,if I like it,yadda yadda, telling me all about how his friend is a security guard at erlanger, blah blah, telling second hand war stories etc.Asks where I work,if I intend to make a career out of it (this is where my guard goes up,and I am also thinking I know this guy from somehwere)I responded in a joking manner "Well I intend to hit the lottery" and replied "as long as you at least buy a ticket right?"...

Anyway,he turned to walk away, and at this point I''m done pumping gas and getting in my car,and turned back around and reapproached and asked "well are you at least keeping your ear to the ground, looking for new opportunities?" (like, why the hell is this perfect stranger so interested in my career all of a sudden?) and I replied "yeah I guess.Im always looking for better jobs.."

"Well me and my wife(points to her in his car)have a great business opportunity, and I'd like to share it with you"..

I said "sorry dude I don't have time I'm running late" and got in my car and shut the door.He looked at me stunned,as if he thought he had a huge trophy catch reeled in hook line and sinker, and it flopped right off the line

As soon as he said that I knew he was trying to scam me,but more intriguing,I was getting a stronger feeling I knew this cat from somewhere, then it dawned on me:He was the same guy (and gal) that tried running the same game on me and my former roommate while we were shopping for art supplies at hobby lobby about three years ago. Only then it was his wife or whatever who approached, and led us into casual conversation with him, which started the same way, small talk about what we do,try to relate, tell an anecdotal story that relates to my current situation to show we have alot in common, then the pitch comes soon after.I got to wondering if anyone else had encountered this guy, listened to his pitch, worked with this guy to find out he's legit, worse case scenario, been taken for a ride by the dude?

They are a young, early to mid 20 something african american couple,he is about 5'7'' thin, looks like a young ass malcom x,wire rim glasses. At hobby lobby he was dressed real sharp, like executive business or fancy wedding attire, last night he was more casual hipster, skinny jeans, flannel shirt, wool over coat. She is about 5'7''very attractive, one ofthose black girls that has white girl features (sorry i dont know how else to put it..aliyah lookalike?)both of these guys are very well spoken, eloquent, educated, etc.Last night they were riding in a red beat up saturn (business must be slow)I'm just curious to know what their game is and how it works. If I had had time and truely hadn't been running late I would have heard him out, then when I remembered him from hobby lobby I would have called him out just to watch him squirm, but I had to go.

TL;DR Got cold approached by a scammer at a gas station with an "amazing business opportunity" who has approached me before a couple years ago, want to know if anyone else around here has had dealings with them.
