Sims 3 Stuff Packs question - Which ones to buy?

Ok, so I loved the Sim 2 and bought the Sims 3 on Black Friday. Played it, loved it. Now I want the expansions. I was wondering are the Stuff Packs necessary or worth it at all? If so, which ones? I already plan on getting all the actual expansions (generations, pets, etc) but am curious about the stuff packs.

Any advice appreciated.
