Sound comes out headphones and speakers on laptop while using voice chat programs

When using mumble or TS3 which I use to communicate through while gaming.

It sends all non chat sounds out my speakers on my laptop. It also recognizes my headphones as communication headphones and does not allow me to change it to default. Any help would be appreciated.
