Running out of food... water... going insane. Waiting for dx8 to be fixed.

So honestly... I can play TF2 on 8.1, and I haven't crashed as much as other people. But it seems like not only there is crashing since that update where they took a dump on dx8, but a good amount of stutter and frame loss as well. Anyone else have this problem maybe on top of the crashing?
