Reddit, my older brother is going to be leaving for college soon. What are some things I can send him?

My older brother is leaving for college soon (he is in his senior year). I myself am currently a high school freshman. I'm going to be an only child at home for the next three years (with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, and summers) and I just realized this. What are some things that I can do to brighten up his day? I was thinking about maybe sending him an envelope each week (maybe every Sunday so he could get it on Mondays because he hates Monday) with a letter, a postcard, a photo? Does this sound like a good idea? I know that I can call him, text him, email, Facetime, etc. but I think it being handwritten and sent would make it more thoughtful? Any other ideas?
