Any animal vision simulators out there?
disclaimer: not a biologist. Not even closely related to the area. I'm a software developer who lurks on this subreddit because you guys post some interesting stuff.
So this has been bugging me for quite some time. I know there are some simulated images that show how animals perceive colours but I've found nothing pertaining to the geometrical distorsions caused by various eye configurations. For example, horses are said to see everything magnified (thus them being so easy to startle).
Any recommendations?
