Working on Bootstrap & Drupal based personal site, would love to hear peoples' ideas

Hi all,

I've been working on and off on a personal website using the Bootstrap framework. I've just finished on the homepage, and now I'm working on a blog, about me and portfolio section.

I lost a whole chunk of work last night when I was tired and deleted my whole portfolio view in Drupal (instead of just one page of that view), so it's probably best if you just keep the critique to the homepage and the about me page.

(The subdomain is just for while I develop, eventually it will replace my tumblr at http://wolstenhol.me)

Things I know I need to do:

• Create a proper responsive layout for tablets and phones
• Move inline CSS to stylesheets so it benefits from caching and separates design from content etc
• Possibly lose the coffee stain effect from the 'what I'm reading block' and at the very least licence that image and copy it to my own server so I'm not hotlinking!
• Shorten some of the descriptions in the portfolio slider block as some are a bit too long
• Optimise images, CSS and javascript, turn on caching in Drupal and set gzip up on the server etc
• Make links far more obvious in the body text! At the moment the colour is not obvious enough and there's no text-decoration! This is a biggie but will be easy to fix.

Things I'm particularly proud of:

• Grid based layout but breaking it up a bit with the bike photo on about-me and the handwritten images for the twitter and portfolio bits
• Twitter embedded tweets view on homepage, using masonry to keep it nicely arranged
• The instragram integration at bottom of homepage
• The last.fm integration and album cover art

The target audience is really mostly potential employers and interested people in the web/digital world. I'm not looking for work at the moment but I know I need to create a stronger web presence, and also bring together my presence from tumblr, twitter, LinkedIn etc all in one central place. It's meant to be a web presence that highlights my skills of bringing together different services/tools, and creating useful websites with a bit of personality.
