On My Way to Vegas

Today, I fly out to Las Vegas for a week on a business trip. Naturally, it's going to be difficult to not get into the 'let's drink!' mentality when I step off the plane.

To be honest, I have had no issues this past week staying sober because I really don't consider myself an addict...yet. I'm more of a social drinker that just goes way to far and blacks out due to the people I'm hanging out with and the environment I'm in. So 'staying sober' is going to be easy for me with the right motivation. Then comes the word 'sober'. What defines being sober? To me, it's the line you don't cross that becomes drunk. A couple beers at a business dinner doesn't count in mine eyes seeing the situation.

I guess this next week in Vegas will be defined as whether or not I maintain the 'couple beers max' mentality and go back to the hotel feeling perfectly fine.

How's for daily updates?
