Now that November is done, how are you feeling so far about your team? What have you seen that impresses/worries you?

For the Spartans, I'd give it a B so far.

I'm impressed by Dawson's return, Appling's play overall, Gary Harris being a beast in general, and Denzel Valentine is slowly getting better. We have 2 freshman getting a lot of playing time (Harris, Valentine), which is always good.

What has worried me is the amount of stupid turnovers. Turnovers have been a problem for Izzo teams for years now, but it seems like it's a MUCH bigger problem this year. The team also sometimes looks lost on the court, which I think is because Draymond isn't there anymore. Also, our captains (Nix, Byrd) really need to improve. If they don't, we will really need to find a new leader on the court (Appling??)

Overall, I've liked what I've seen for the most part, but we're gonna have to really step it up before Big Ten play starts. Stupid turnovers will get us buried by at least 3 other teams this year.
