How is the Samsung 830 SSD 256gb?

I'm in the market for an SSD to upgrade my PC, and with christmas coming up it seems like a good time. I've been looking at the Samsung 830 256gb, as I hear them recommended more than the Crucial M4.

Also, how is the Samsung SSD magician software?

Thanks for your time/replies,
