Not a LARPer but I have a serious question

I live next to a large LARP community. They meet every saturday at noon, I was wondering if they would find it offensive if some friends and I dressed up as ogres and staged a raid on them from the forest next to where they play. Its simply in good fun and Im really hopeing they find it in good nature and play along. I guess my question is how would you LARPers here on reddit respond to such an act?
