Switching between F/T and Live mice

I've had a Ball Python for about 6 months, he/she is about 2 feet long. I've been feeding him F/T since I've owned him. I understand that BPs are finicky eaters, but lately I have wanted to try live and give him some "sport".

My question for you guys is what are your experiences with switching between F/T and Live (or vise versa)?
