Reddit comes through again

While browsing r/halo around 2:30 this morning I came across a post advertising some custom games being hosted.

The guys who were there were all at least twice my rank, but no one talked shit about the relative noob. I was introduced to a couple new game types (ultimate frisbee and slenderman), and overall had a great four hours of multiplayer.

Why can't the rest of the gaming community be more like folks who hang out on reddit.
