[Build Ready] Extreme OCing gaming build: what do you guys think? (might need help on something)
Gonna be doing ultra settings gaming with every possible game (really.) and high quality recording and some editing for youtube.
Also I'm in italy, so prices are different aswell as availability, but still the parts are the same.

(I already have the parts not listed)
Reasoning behind my choices:
-
CPU: It's just the best i5 to get, also it's unlocked for OC.
-
Mobo: reading lots of reviews, it looks like the V-Pro is the best Z77 (after the expensive ones) and gives extremely good OCing performance
-
CPU Cooler: This is such a popular choice and I went for it, but I really don't know if I should change it for these circumstances. what do you guys think?
-
Memory: 2x4 looks best, 1866 memory is a waste imo. I'm still not sure about the timings (didn't really check), if you guys can suggest me some better 2x4 memory (timings or w/e) go on. I picked the blue ones cause the V-pro is blue :D
-
Storage: I just picked the most common 2TB HDD, I didn't go for a SSD as I can always buy one later. I may change it, depending on prices and stuff.
-
GPU: The IceQ X2 came out recently, and offers (one of) the highest core clock OCing potential. It's got a GREAT cooler too, and is just a beast under every aspect. also uses the Boost Technology. The only flaws are its "low" memory clock speed and power comsumption under high load.
-
Case: What can I say, that's probably the best case I could get, just check this out
-
PSU: Looked like a good choice (maybe changing it into a HCG or something, depending on the price) but I am unsure about something. Reading the specs of this and the GPU, it looks like the GPU would run best with 1 6-pin PCIE and 1 8-pin PCIE, respectively at 75W and 150 W, while the cooler specs say it's 4-pin. What can you guys tell me about this?
So what do you think?
