I once saw an article/tread about how you make sure facebook doesn't filter your feed. Need to know if it still is unfiltered.

Ok, so I found out about how facebook filthers which peoples stuff you see in your news feed, depending on trending activity. I changed the options so that I could see any posts submitted by friends of mine if I selected most recent. Now I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like that anymore, I can barely see posts from friends I haven't talked to in a while, even if I press most recent.

Any way I can check/change this?
