Need some tech help please. anyone with regear experience in a d44 please help.

I just bought two d44's out of a 78 wagoneer. They have some seriously high gear ratio and need to gear down. I've never done this before and will be taking it to a professional that offered me a discount if I bought all the parts needed. So that what my question is. do I have to replace the carrier and spider gears? I know the ring and pinion have to be replaced but what about the rest? Im not in a big hurry to get it done its just kind of a side project right now but I was just trying to get an idea of how much this is all going to cost me parts wise. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
