Why are bubbles white?

I have been wondering this for a very long time.

My soap ain't white. My water ain't white - but the bubbles are perfectly white. When i shower or do the dishes, there is always this puff of perfectly white soapy bubbles.

I don't know if this is a stupid question, but i simply can't figure it out!
