Should I Root My GNexus?

Hey r/Android! You guys are extremely knowledgable in this matter so I thought'd you guys would be the best to ask. I am fairly tech savvy so bricking is not really to much of a concern. If you could just lay out the Pros and Cons and list the benefits and drawbacks maybe if theres battery loss or something. Thanks for you help !
