Does anyone else keep their 'homeworld' out of Hard Mode, and just harvest from other 'wild' worlds?

I'm just curious. I recently got a new PC and started over with none of the files transferred. I decided 'This Land', my new homeworld, will remain in Normal Mode, to avoid most all hassles while building and such, as well as having plenty of nice green areas for harvesting mushrooms and daybloom. Also, it's so much fun starting from scratch.
