(Spoilers all) Speculation about Jon's name

The Jon I'm referring to is Jon Snow. I seem to recall through Jon Con's POVs he had a little man love for Rhaegar and that they were pretty good friends. Which leads me to believe that if R+L=J holds true, that Jon Snow could have been named after a close friend of Rhaegar's. Not sure if there's anything out there about this already, or if it will make any difference whatsoever, just an interesting connection. Thoughts?
