Middle aged and need to know if this is just flirting and normal or completely fucked up? I need a reality check.

I am over 50 and have recently returned to the corporate world after having my own small business. For the past ten years, almost all of my contact with other people was via the phone or email. My social circle is quite small.

In the course of three months, I have been asked out twice by a 35-year-old married coworker; had a 65-year-old subordinate stroke my hair and then confide in me that he doesn't get sex from his wife; had a 25-year-old from another department press his hand on to the small of my back while inviting me to call him; had a 30-year-old superior ask me if I was interested in dating him -- and he has a girlfriend.

I have diverted all this unwanted attention and dealt with it accordingly, so I am not looking for advice about sexual harassment. I am trying to understand if this shit is pretty much "normal flirting" or if it is as fucked up as I think it is. The last time I was in the corporate world, this would have never happened.

I am not hot or even physically attractive, and I have made it clear that I am over 50 and have grown children. I am very much the motherly type. I am stunned that my age does not seem to be an issue.

I dress very professionally, and usually nicer than everyone else in the office -- hair done, make up, high heels, suits, jewelry, etc. This is a very casual environment so I know I do stand out because of that.

I am not sure if this is just me over-reacting or what.
