Tablet for school - word, excel, powerpoint apps?

Hello everyone!

I've been thinking about getting a tablet that I can use for school stuff rather than bringing the very heavy, slow laptop home and to school every day that the school gave us.

Now it should be noted that Im not planning to write essays on this, just small notes from the lessons. I believe you understand what Im after here, Im looking for school applications that can give me an easy version of word, paint and powerpoint if possible. Now on IOS there are several apps like this even ones that are almost identical to word/excel/powerpoint that you would find on your computer but I really dont want to buy an iPad as I hate the UI.

Does anyone have any idea if there are apps like this on android?

I understand its against the rules to ask for tips on what to buy but I thought I could throw it in here. Anyone have any tips on good tablets with a reasonable price that could be good for my use? prefer if a keyboard dock is available to purchase!
