Help! Need advice from my fellow girls!

Umm.. Hi.. first time to do this so, please, help? My hair is a straight kinda wavy light brown and I wanna dip dye it purple or lilac, and I'm willing to change my mind about the color so please help me with my choice. Thank you, I appreciate any help.. Laila xx
