Oscilloscope as Data Logger?
I'm looking to use a DSO that I have as a data logger. Basically I have this sensor that gives an analog output when a piston moves. I want to be able to start my recording, fire my piston, stop the recording, and look at the output of the sensor. I don't want to have to set up any triggers, since I'm not entirely sure what the signal looks like and I wouldn't know what the trigger levels would be.
According to this, it can't be done. Really?
Edit: I should probably give some specs. I'm looking to sample at 250ksps for about 2 minutes, +-5V, 12-bit resolution.
