How do you use the Comet?

I need your help guys. I can't figure this tank out. It lacks manoeuvrability , it lacks armor, it lacks alpha. Its movement dispersion is through the roof. I would use it as a sniper, it has okay accuracy and a high RoF, but against tier 8 or 9 tanks it's not going to penetrate.

What should I do?
