Did you ever have a soulmate who was an animal? A house pet, or say, a horse or something?

As a kid I used to love our big Siamese cat. He followed me everywhere, go with me to bed at night, came when I called him even when we were outside and he was down the block. My current cat seems like a reincarnation of him sometimes. I just think we understand each other.
