Anyone fancy giving me a hand finding something important?
OK, Background info. I've been compiling my family tree with my sister for a number of years now. Unfortunately my nan is getting very old and being the youngest of 10 siblings, her memory is hazy with details of them.
There is one particular family member I am DYING to find the news clipping about, as I'm hoping it will allow us to take our nan to his grave which she has never seen.
It is my nan's brother. This is what information I have about him through the information I have paid for i.e. birth record not certificate and his death record.
His name was Sidney.E. Bare. Born in (March?) 1914 in St. Olave Bermondsey(London) and died (December) 1931 aged just 17. All we know is he apparently died in a horrific motorcycle crash, is apparently buried in Nunhead cemetary and his death record states Hollingbourne, Kent as the county? My nan thinks it happened in London.
Ah yes I am British. I'm pretty exhausted and frustrated at the moment, the harder I try the more impossible it seems to find the news clipping about it online. (My nan has lost the original.)
I hope this was enough and people who love a bit of detective work are up to the challenge or could point me in the right direction. :)
