Question about PA DMV and getting an out of state license "renewed"
I have lived in Philly for about 9 years, but have always had my out of state license, because it was not expired. But it expired last Feb (yes, I should have done this sooner) and I have been wanting to get a new PA license, though I don't know the process. Does any one know if I would have to go in for a new drivers test? Or just head to the DMV and get a new license (showing my out of state as proof that I did pass a drivers test)?
I have called the DMV but there is never anyone to actually talk to, so it becomes very frustrating. I have called other "license renewal" branches and they have told me I need to go to the one off of Columbus Blvd.
I don't necessarily want to go there and sit all day just to find out I have to go through the dirvers test and waste another day. (I realize this might be my only option though.)
I guess what I am asking is for any information that can help with: Out of State License Renewal; expired license renewal; and where to call to actually talk to a real person???
Thanks!!
