Forgive me father, for I have sinned. Reddit, what is the worst thing you've ever done on the Internet?
You don't have to regret doing it, but I personally regret this one:
About 2 years ago, I started talking to this beautiful girl in my high school. I had graduated and essentially missed my chance of talking to her in person which also led to me missing my chance of asking her out.
Well, let's just say that all that regret turned into anger and jealousy without me even realizing it.
So, she and I are talking on Facebook for a few months when I see her post this awesome picture. She was a dancer, and here she is in mid air with her legs spread perfectly apart. Her arms are pointing straight to the ground as if she's defied gravity and lifted off.
I thought I was being funny, but I was later wrong. I photoshopped fire coming from her vagina/ass so it looked like she was taking off like a rocket ship. I posted something along the lines of "Damn it Chipotle!" I tagged her.
I got several scathing messages from her, her friends and her family all asking me to take the photo down. For some stupid reason I refused until she got Facebook to take it down. She blocked me, I blocked her friends and her boyfriend (after he threatened to murder me) and to this day she will not forgive me.
I have apologized several times and I feel like such an asshole for doing that, especially because I later found out that the whole school saw it and made fun of her for it.
TL;DR Hot girl from high school made me jealous and I bullied her because I couldn't nut up and ask her out.
So, Reddit, what is something you have done on the Internet that was just awful?
