Hurricane vs Hammerdin?

Sup guys, I need a little help deciding what character I want to make next. I currently only have an MF mete-orb sorc who can run Hell meph, hell cows, andy, pindle, etc. The easy stuff basically. Now I want a character that can do Hell act 4 and 5 farming, and travincal (and maybe clear cows easier than my sorc) and I was having a little trouble deciding. I am tossed up between a hurricane druid and a hammerdin. Just hoping someone can clear up a few of the following questions for me:

1. Which character is best for handling the stuff I listed? It's mainly between hurricane druid and hammerdin but to a lesser extent I would also like to a build a zon
2. I've heard that hammers are not resisted by any monster which is a huge plus. Is this also the case for the druid's storm or is that cold resisted? That's all I can think of for now. I am mainly unsure of the druid because I have played a geared hammerdin on bnet before. So someone come talk sensually to me about caster druids and help me decide. Thanks
