Military personnel next in line to zip through airport security. Has anyone actually pass through TSA with their CAC out?

I saw a email recently about TSA relieving military members of security checks at Dulles and Honolulu International. No more taking off the boots! Did this actually get implemented or is it one of those "not going to happen" kind of things.
