Fellow Reddit Migraine sufferers, what's your episode like? What do you usually do to lessen the symptoms?
I have had migraine attacks since I was in 4th grade. A "regular" episode would start in the early morning/afternoon with a few hours of visual aura. First, my visual focus would get blocked by a blur. This would go on for an hour or less. Then, the blur would transform into a snake like object, with bright white/black shapes zigzagging pattern in the object. Over the course of 2 hours or so, the object would snake around and then finally out of edge of focus. That's when the headache/nausea, lasting from 5 to 8 hours, until I throw up. During the headache, all my visual/auditory senses are on over drive.
