Street Hockey Anyone?

So for the past couple of weekends I've been going to the basketball courts under the west side highway at ~72nd street and have been rollerblading around with a hockey stick and ball, trying to practice some street hockey skills, because I used to play as a kid and I wanted to get back into it.

Anyway, this is such a long shot but I wanted to throw it out there. I'm having a good time but I thought that it would be fun to have it be more than just me skating around by myself. If there's anyone out there who would would possibly want to join me sometime, PM me. It doesn't have to be at that place either. Basically, it would just be skating around, shooting randomly at things, trying to flip the ball into the basketball hoop, trying to learn how to stop, etc.

If more than a couple people are interested then maybe we can even get a game going or something. Who knows. I'm a 29 yr old guy. Not a big guy but not a terrible athlete either.

Update:

Everyone is welcome.

Date: Saturday, Jan 12th

Time: 2:00pm

Place: Hudson River Greenway basketball courts off W 72nd. under West Side Highway. Walking/Biking directions from 72nd st, It's a little tricky getting to from street level: http://goo.gl/maps/P55I5

Come with skates and a stick. There's a ton of details we can figure out later about how to organize and play, but that doesn't really matter yet. Let's just congregate and skate around for an hour or so; figure things out on the fly.
