PR: Prospective freshman (applying for scholarships) but concerned by all of the negativity I've been reading? Please help?

Hey guys! I've gotten into Riddle in Prescott (33 ACT and 3.9). I am working on my PPL with funds from a summer job right now, and am hoping to major in AE with a flight minor. My goal is to become a test pilot, and I have been really encouraged by the fact that it is possible to obtain an engineering major with a flight minor.

I know that this place is super expensive. I'm applying for literally every scholarship I can, and am really hoping to attend. However, I've been reading tons and tons of negative reviews and it's starting to turn me away.

I know that this has been asked many times before, but what do you like or not like about ERAU (aside from the cost please)? How is the girl situation? Is there a sense of community because everyone likes to fly? Are the dorms and food pretty cool? Finally, what kind of employer recruitment takes place?

Thanks guys!
