[NSFW] My roommate who sleeps in the next room over has loud sex at inconvenient times, but due to the awkwardness, I never said anything. Now I want to say something, but I'm worried the fact I put up with listening might seem creepy. How do you tell someone to keep it down politely?

The title explains most of it, but I'm not sure how to ask him to quiet down. I don't expect him to never have sex over there, but requesting him to quiet down has been made doubly awkward by how long I've waited to say something. We're going to be living together for at least another semester, so elaborate revenge plots are out of the question.

Is there a proper way to handle this?
