I need help with furthering my education I live in St. Charles, Missouri.

Okay so here is the deal. And I apparently have not given enough info in the past, but I will try now. I was accepted to a study abroad program for Canterbury England. The tuition is $10,000+ and I have acquired most of it through working my butt off, taking out student loans and getting financial aid. I had applied for a scholarship of $3200. I am due to leave for the UK in a month and I JUST NOW found out I didn't get the scholarship. Of course, this is really upsetting because I've worked so hard to get this far!

My cousin came up with a brilliant idea though! Start a fundraiser. That of course sounds sleezy. "Hey everyone, give me money because I deserve it!" But this isn't a fundraiser like that. I have proposed that any money I raise, I will donate to charity after I have a job in my field of study and get my first paychecks.

Before you go telling me to "check my privilege", please know that I am not just going over to the UK for fun. I care about my education more than mostly anything. I have been maintaining a 4.0 all semester and was only asked to do this study abroad program because of my grades and dedication to my studies. I am not well off. I am fairly low class. I attend a community college and have been on financial aid and the A+ program my entire time there. I am a history major and the opportunity to study in another country and learn their history and culture is an amazing one! I am just asking that you view my website www.alliesfund.webs.com and consider making a difference in my live and others.

Edit: spelling

UPDATE: My fund currently has $580 towards it! That leaves 121 donations of $20 left to help me reach my goal! People are amazing. Thank you!
