What are the prerequisites for studying the mathematics of Minkowski Space-Time?

I would like to learn some Relativity later and heard Minkowski Space is a good thing to know for understanding Special Relativity. I was wondering what I should be comfortable with to read a text on Minkowski Space. Thanks.
