I don't know what to give a fuck about and what not to

I am a 14 year old male. I don't think i quite understand the honey badger philosophy - what kind of things am i supposed to give a fuck about? what things can change how people look at me for better or for worse? should i even give a fuck about how people look at me? I've reached a loop; dont give a fuck about what people think about me > end up looking like an asshole > don't give a fuck about said opinion > still look like an ass > have 0 fucks to give to anyone/thing close to me > still an ass as you can see, in this loop I come out an asshole... all the time. I think i'm missing the point of the honeybadger philosophy... help?
