Anxiety and meditation
I started Meditation a week ago.
I had good results after the first few times I did it. Better focus (slightly), calmer overall.
I must also say that I have GIRD, and that been the trigger for some anxiety in the past. I chose to not worry about it and use the medication recommended by the doctors.
A few days ago, after I received the results of my bloodwork, I saw that I have a spike in cholesterol (altough I eat pretty green and healthy). Anxiety spiked. So after investigating I saw that the reason for this and other stomach problems must be my medication. I relayed my concerns to the doctor at the begining and he shurgged them off. I've jad bad experienced with all doctors before.
So basically I'm stuck in this circular mind loop which amplifies my anxiety: "I can't eat most things. Doctors suck whe n it comes to this issue and they treat the symtoms. I'm alone with this problem. I can't exercise since that brings more acid and triggers anxiety. I can't stop medication because that will bring more acid and more anxiety. I can't disconnect with alchohol or weed." I meditate, and I focus and I empty my mind and for while it's better. And less anxiety means less acid and then, feeling crappy brings me in the loop again.
And the problem is that I can't focus to meditate at times. I can't find any center.
Did you have this problem? How do I deal with this.
