Bat drops...? (Suggestion)

Ok, so I know this is gonna sound stupid, but what if, in a future update, bats dropped leather? I know it's sounds weird, but it could be another way to get leather, instead of from cows. This could also make enchanting rooms easier to build.....just an idea.

One of my friends also suggested they drop something that could be used for brewing, but we couldn't think of anything. Maybe temporary flight? He did suggest that bats could be in the Nether, because of the dark areas, make it a little more spooky.

This is just an idea, downvote this to hell for all I care.
