I went lucid in a daydream within a dream.

I don't know what to make of this. I dreamt that was with this girl I saw right before bed. Setting is irrelevant (I sound like Seven of Nine). She said to me "Are you dreaming?" And I reacted to that, closed my eyes, and merged dream states with her. We were standing in the same spot in the same setting, but immediately took off the ground with full control and flew around. This may have lasted 10-30 seconds, I can't recall. But at one point I remember the image of myself asleep in my own bed surfaced in my head, but I wasn't even worried that I would wake up. I knew that I was securely fastened to the dream.

Maybe I should really have written the dream down in my journal. I've been lazy recently with regards to recording them, even if the dreams are quite vivid and fresh in the morning. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Lucidity under a few layers?
